What in the h**l(o) is staining all of my clothes!!?

Question

Help! For years my clothes have been coming out of the wash with rusty looking yellow stains on them if the shirt is dark, and bright white if they are light. I don't use bleach. What in the heck is it? I don't mix colors!! However...could it be a perfume stain? I do use body spray..is it possible that it stains my clothes??....I'm confused...HELP PLEASE!!! =[

I'm not quite sure. But I'm seriously guessing it's your washing machine. I might ask around before getting a tech guy to come check it out because it could be expensive. However, if you can't find anyone you know, just walk into a maytag store or somewhere where they sell washing machines and ask. It's basically free fixing as long as they can figure it out. [;

My clothes get little round rusty orange spots on them.  I don't wear perfume or body spray or anything, so they are coming from the washing machine.

I read to use Iron Out but I haven't tried it yet.

I also read to look inside the machine for rusty spots that could be leaving  the marks but I can't find any in my machine.

Well, that might be. Try reading the tags on your clothes and do EXACTLY what they say. Yet, what you said about the prefume stains, might be correct. I have a Long Sleve white shirt, and I put some cologne on it, and the stains SET IN! Not even Shout (that spray that SHOUTS OUT STAINS!) works -_=. It's VERY aggravating.

Just try reading the tags on your clothes and try washing them again. If it dosen't work, then you might want to see if a Dry Cleaners can take care of it or, well, the obvious; you lost clothes.

Try soaking overnight in cold water with plenty of salt in it then wash in normal way. Regards. UK
