What in the &^% is the big deal Giving out stars???

Question

When I answer questions most of the time I give out stars to show the question is interesting. It doesnt cost you anything and can be done just by a click of a button!!! Why doesn't anyone give them out?

I usually star questions that I think will be of interest to my contacts so that they can see them too.  If I see a question that gets asked frequently, I don't star it.
