What in the world does a person need to do????

my goal is to make varsity soccer as a freshman. in order to do that i need to run 2 miles in like 12-14 mins. what are some cardio workouts i can do? i'm 14 (no car) and i cant just go and run (not such a good neighborhood) plus im sick of being confined to my room to workout.

  1. you should ask your parents, a friend or a relative to work out a schedule with you so you can go to the gym. i know this probably wont work but you should ask your parents if you can buy a treadmill. those are awesome because you can run on them all year long. i'm sure you can run a mile in under 14 mins i am 12 and i can run it in 7 mins 50 seconds. 9 is the average. if not, there are workout dvd's you can follow that are very helpful. jump roping helps a lot with running so buy a jump rope and you can do that indoors.


  2. maybe you should find a gym thats near by your house that you can walk to, or have your parents drive you to.

    set up a schedule with them, like mondays, wensdays and fridays you'll go to the gym at idk 3-5

    so they wont be caught off guard with you needing to be driven somewhere..
