  1. Marjoram is an herb that has much of the same flavor as oregano and, like oregano, is used a lot in Italian and other Mediterranean dishes.  It is very good with vegetables and soups.


  2. I am a former chef and it is an herb from the oregano family, a bit milder and floral than oregano which is actually a wild cousin, it can be used in recipes in place of oregano, and goes well with poultry, pork, fish and stuffings even in salad dressing it is fine.
