What in this wide, wonderful, world is a "chi straightener"?

I've seen questions about these things before and it's driving me crazy. I asked my wife and she doesn't know either. Any help?

It's a brand of hair iron, used for straightening your hair. Other brands are Phillips, Revon, Remmington and Babylis.

very hot straightening iron. They do come with temp. control on them.  The very good ones are ceramic and pricey, but worth it. If you've never used one, please have a professional use it on your hair.
