i go to a highschool im still a teenager and i wanna know whats the style like i wanna know so i can have ideas on what kinda of clothes to wear this year for school, whats in? and tell me whats out maybe?

well i'm a total prep (not hollister prep, think more ralph lauren east coast prep) haha but in style for me this year is:

argyle sweaters/socks

polos (never goes out)

plaid shorts

navy blue/khaki/white shorts

wedge flipflops (the juicy couture ones)

juicy tracksuits in Eggy (a yellow color by them)

hobo coach and chanel bags

neon flats

babydoll tops and dresses

sequined converse

patched uggs

here is what is out:

skinny jeans

tripp pants

anything plaid that is lower than your knee

regular converse

skinny jeans

short uggs

anything hollister

anything floral

screen tees

shirts that say "I <3 ..."(new york, the 80's, etc)

Skinny jeans and cropped blazers are really in at the moment. Tie die is a new trend that is coming back. So is the nautical trend eg stripes, white and navy blue, red and white, anchor necklaces etc. Ummm buy popular brands so you know what you are wearing is in. Or go shopping with friends and let them help you pick out some clothes. Or buy some fashion mags so you know whats in.

Yeah. I'm going to have to agree on Alizun with that one. I see so many people wearing gladiator sandals now. Also scarves(not acutal winter scarves) you know the cute ones around your neck with a sweater or something like thiss

I was in Manhattan the other day and noticed a lot of people were wearing scarves and gladiator sandals.
