What in your opinion is different about illegal immigrants vs legal immigrants of same culture?

Besides a visa. What makes 1 more apt to be a better citizen/immigrant then the other? Aren't their legal baddies 2? Why are they accepted or aren't they?

I am all for legal immigrants but we have to be very careful how we express ourselves about other people. We fill our mouths about murderers, rapist, etc. like if we don't have that here too. This country is based on immigrants, check your family genealogical tree.

An illegal immigrant is someone that breaks the law to seek a better future in another country. Of course, they are bad apples that migrate, this does not mean that legal immigrants cant be criminals too.

Bonita, the next time you walk in the dark coming out from work and find yourself with those that you call murderers, make sure you ask them for an ID before they save your life from one of our own. Thanks to them I am still alive today.

Nobody is illegal. We come here to raise our families,we are very hard workers,we often put in 12 hour days 7 days a week , doing jobs that Americans will not do.We do pay taxes every week just like anybody else does,our buying power puts a lot money into cities across America,that might otherwise be struggling to make ends meet.Undocumented workers contribution to America is, we are making america to be the greatest countries in the world. remember my friend no human is illegal

Since illegal aliens broke the law, they are more apt to be law breakers in the future, legal immigrants much more desired because they started off on the right foot and have didn't' break the law to get to where they want to go.

They are the same to me. I feel the same about them all. Just because they crossed an imiginary line doesn't make me feel any different about them. I don't consider them criminals. The people I consider criminals are murderers, rapist, theives, etc.. but not someone who hops the border. They aren't accepted by the hateful people on yahoo answers.. but they are accepted in the real world, mostly by all of the companies who hire them and don't care. People, it's time to wake up and realize they aren't going anywhere. Better start accepting them.

Just because one illegal immigrant happens to come from a particular culture, does not mean all that culture are tarred with the same brush, . HOWEVER....It is a fact that citizens of some countries are much more likely to enter illegally than citizens of others. The authorities know which countries those are dodgy, so their citizens are especially scrutinised. I guess that means the ones that get through that tougher process   LEGALLY are truly the type of good guys that are wanted.Unfortunately, they often suffer due to the behaviour of their more nefarious countrymen who break the law by illegal entry. I personally hope that illegals NEVER get an amnesty, and if discovered, are kicked out, preferably after a dose of work in jail.

The person that is claiming to be an illegal immigrant is so dumb that he does not realise that he has already broken US law, and with the tightened laws which are now coming into force, he will be discovered, deported,and will not even be able to apply to re-enter for at least 5 years, and even then might be denied.

He could have applied as soon as he reached 18, and might have been given residence, but he has now lost that chance and has not bothered since, and when someone reports him, or he is found out by someother way, he has only himself to blame for his predicament.I say Tough Luck!

One(the legal) is law abiding and shows a true desire to sacrifice and wait just to be able to call themselves an American. The other(illegal) is just a leeching criminal.

There is no difference...one has a stupid piece of paper and the other one doesn't.  People don't realize how expensive and hard it is to go to the U.S. legally.  If you were born into their situation you would hop the border too.  A person needs to really see how life is in other countries before they judge other people for trying to better themselves the only way they can.
