I have to gow ithmine right now...Nike Zooms....they arent THE best, but i love them.  I thin Saucony and Asics make some good ones!

It depends on your foot!

There is no single best brand for everyone. A professional fitting by an experienced runner can help you select the best brand for your build, foot shape and running habits.

For me, I like the Saucony Tri Guide and the Asics GT 2120.

you have the more popular and easily conjured  names such as adidas and nike, but asics actually care about the quality of there shoe; esp in relation to the effects it will have on you when you run.

i love them; wouldn't wear another brand once ive actually tried them

Let me start by saying, if you're using this to find a shoe for yourself, don't.  The best way to find a shoe for you is to go to a local running store (not like foot locker or sports authority), and have them fit you.  That way, you'll fine the right shoe for your arch, size, and gait habits (pronation).

That being said, I happen to be a big fan of the Saucony Hurricane series, particularly the Hurricane 9.  It's very supportive, but also soft and cushioned.  The 10s are also good, but i love the 9.
