What inexpensive gift can i get someone for a birthday ?

Question

I need to get a gift for a girl turning 16 ... however she hates when i just splash cash to buy stuff ... so she wants me to give her a gift i wont buy or at least cost much

any suggestions ?

The best gift to give anyone is a hand made gift. anything that you can make your self would be great and the supplies are not expensive at all

Write her a book of memories and give her a single rose or take her to a nice dinner :-) or give her a gift card. If she is getting a car you might want to get her some accesories for her car.

Hey, buy her some pretty perfume. Take her on a cute date, to dinner or something. Tell her how much you love her, and spend a lot of time with her on that day. Any girl would be appreciative of those things. I can guarantee you she would love that. Buy her her favorite movie, or a gift card to her favorite store. Whatever you do end up getting her, make sure that it will let her know that you know what she likes, because that will show her that you are interested in what she likes. Hi.  Something I like to do is make a themed basket.  Just buy an inexpensive wicker basket, think of a theme that she would like, and buy a bunch of stuff to go along with that theme.  And the cheap part is..chances are you can get most of that stuff at a dollar store or a place like walmart.  And then just arrange everything in the basket and wrap it up with some discount fabric from walmart.  It's an idea.  Good Luck.

okay, make her a scrapbook with a few pictures of you together, write small little things like a love letter or poem,wishing her happy birthday and telling her how much you really care for her,how she makes you smile, brightens your day, and whatever you feel about her.leave a few pages empty, and if she asks why you didnt fill it up, tell her it's because the two of you can fill it out with your future memories- but only say it if you mean it!

buy a small ring from a gumball machine and put it in a jewlery box, and give it to her, saying "well you didnt want me to buy you the real thing" when she finds out it's fake.it's cute and it'll make her smile.

Make a huge card out of a poster board, but use stencils so that the letters come out straight and neat.

this sounds corny, but get her 11 roses, and one fake one, saying "I'll love you till the last one dies" I guarentee she'll smile and love that.

Get her a picture frame, and put a picture of you and her in it. It's something she can hold on to for a long time. :)

Haha I got three of those for my eighteenth birthday, and it really is better than having someone buy you something you might never use.
