I am doing an assignment for my Food Tech class and I can't seem to find any information on this particular subject. I can't change which country I was given so please don't suggest that I choose something easier. Thank you!

  1. The numbers of Dutch immigrants to Australia was never great especially when compared to Greeks and Italians and so they have generally been assimilated very quickly into the population without obviously adding distinctive food or culture.

Tasmania has the most obvious Dutch presence but apart for the annual Oliebollen festival there is nothing out of the ordinary.

Indo Dutch populations arriving after IIndonesianindependence can be found in the far north

Gouda and Edam cheese is available everywhere
