What influences glomerular filtration rate?

there are a few factors i will try to list a few:

1) Amount of water in your body

2) Blood Pressure (directly proportional) and blood Volume (again fluids)

3) Drugs and other drinks (Coffee, tea, alcohol all are diuretics because they increase circulation)

4)amount of solutes (salts) in body too much has to go out so it takes out more water with it (Osmotic)

5) Amount of protein in blood (colloid) more protein retains more water so low GFR.

6) Anxiety-remember school exams make you go.......

Apart from these, many high blood pressure prescription drugs tend to have effect on GFR to get rid of fluids and lower the blood pressure- pharmaceutically they act on renin angiotensin system....anxiety related as well.
