What information do you need when signing the birth certificate?

Like S.S.N, Id's??? what should I make sure we have with us?

just the stuff in your wallet. they didnt ask to see any of my IDs though. u might want to go to the hospital u are planning to have ur baby at and preregister so they dont hit u with a million papers and questions like they did me.

You probably will know most of the info off hand.  They ask SSN, address, mother's maiden name, father's full name, parents' birth dates and the name of the OB that delivered the baby.  This info will be printed on the birth certificate.  

They also ask for the parents': employment, education, and ethnicity, which are for statistical purposes.
