These phrases, "right of the People peaceably to assemble," "right of the People to be secure in their homes," "enumeration's herein of certain rights shall not be construed to disparage others retained by the People," and "The power not delegated herein are reserved to the states respectively, and to the People," all referring to individual people, but "the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms," refers to the state. How is that possible.

People need to stop trying to interpret the bill of rights and just READ them.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.

Yes, that is 80 million.

The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

That's kinda tricky for me cuz I'm for gun control.

I apologize if it's not what you need

I guess you would give the basic idea of what gun control is without giving a biased opinion about it.

So you can't mark any important points of gun control and say that this is wrong because guns kill people or this is wrong because it for homeland security and we have a right to have it.

You just tell what gun control is and thats it, no additional opinions or anything.

You could include positive reasons for both sides - why there should be control, and why there should be freedom, (if there are ppl speaking for and against before you, u cd even quote their points to support yours) and maybe conclude by saying that there are valid reasons to support both views, and the best solution is a balance between control and freedom.

If you are FOR gun control, then you should take the next logical step that the government (incl. law enforcement and military) should also disarm.  And for the EXACT same reasons that doesn't make any sense, it also doesn't make sense for citizens to be unarmed.

Citizens need means to protect themselves. The Supreme Court ruled that law enforcement has NO responsibility to protect individual citizens.   What more did you need to be told?

Fact: criminals will take anywhere guns regardless of local laws, why? because they habitually break the law.

Fact: gun control strips law abiding citizens of a meaningful way of protecting themselves. I.E. 110 pound woman has to fistfight with a 210 pound rapist or submit and be tortured and likely murdered.

Fact: areas that allow people to carry guns are much safer.

For example, U.K. allows NO handguns yet there is a lot of gun violence.

Just to name a few.
