LOL if somebody from the dog section answers.

Like any specific fillers, byproducts, etc. that should be avoided in the ingredients list? I was eating gummy bears the other day and I noticed it had things like corn syrup, artificial dyes, and sugar, all listed as the couple first ingredients! So what ingredients should be avoided? =]

  1. Everything is healthy in moderation, everything is unhealthy in excess. In particular look out for saturated fats... but you should also check that you don't have cyanide in your pork pies.

  2. Stuff like bleach, brake fluid, metal shavings, ground glass, mercury (small amounts in seafood are tolerable, though), naptha, tallaberry leaves, dog hair, bird droppings, mattress stuffing, sewing needles, and the like.

  3. high fructose corn syrup and dextrose esspecially. and partially hydrogenated anything

  4. ricin, a water soluble protein
