Question:

What ingredients would create a strong fizz, when dropped in water? Stronger that the bath bombs!

It also can not cause damage to plumbing.

bath bombs have cornstarch,baking soda,citric acid, borax, I'm not sure which ingredients combined causes them to fiz, but they do not fiz enough for what I am making. Thank you :)

  1. Put vinigar Starch and Baking Powder in it makes great bath bombs strong and due to thin particles it won't be bad on plumbing for a stronger FIZZ try also adding in Lemon Juice


  2. The ingredients that make it fizz are baking soda and the acid components (citric acid and borax -- aka boric acid).

    Any Carbonate + Acid = water + CO2 + some sort of a salt.

    If you want it to fizz more vigorously, use a stronger acid to mix with the baking soda.  Citric acid is pretty weak, and so is Borax.   Even vinegar is a stronger acid than that, but they probably don't use it because the smell is pretty strong.
