  1. You need to visit your doctor no matter what answers you end up with. Before you are allowed to enter the country you MUST have all the required shots on your shot records. I went to Tanzania on a Safari for 5 days and to Zanzibar for beach resort for 3 days. My family and I had to

    -Typhoid

    -Hepatitus (3 sets)

    -Tetnus

    -Yellow Fever

    -Polio

There has not yet been a anti Malaria shot out yet so you  must get malaria tablets also from your doctor.

really your doctor will provide you all the information you need and will be able to answer any questions you may have 10 times better than any of us on here.

    Have fun on your trip!

  2. hi i am going on safari and beach holiday  soon       you will need to see your doctor as soon as poss have a fun time

  3. Yellow Fever and Malary are the more important if you go in safari.

  4. we have been to kenya 10 times, you do not need yellow fever, but you should have anti-malaria, tetnus, polio, hepertitus A, tyfphoid, you should have a chat to your local travel clinic,  you only need yellow fever if you have entered kenya from another country which is infected with yellow fever, also while in kenya, you should go to a recognised pharmacist and buy some lomide, which isthe same as imodium, but 1/4 of the price, watch out for hiv/aids

  5. Yellow Fever - Typhoid - Diphtheria - tetanus - at the very least.

    Hepatitis is strongly recommended

    Malaria tablets definitely required

    HIV is also endemic

Take a emergency first pack also (available in Boots Chemists)

  6. check with a travel agent and/or a doctor.  I believe there is only one shot eneded (for yellow fever) and the option of one for traveler's diarrhea.  But you may also want to talk to them about anti-malaria pills.

  7. I just got back from a Safari/mission trip in Kenya and my church required these:

    Yellow Fever

    Typhoid Fever

    Tetanus

    Hep A

    Hep B

    Definitely take malaria medication too.
