  1. I think Hep A , Typhoid and Diphtheria also Malaria -

Stick with drinking bottled water or fizzy /soft bottled drinks

stick to chicken or if you want fast food stick to well known names McDonald's etc

  2. Before I travel I go to the Travel Clinic here in my area and they know what is recommended.  They will be able to tell you what the risks are, and what is best for you to do.  You should see them two to three months before you intend to travel.   Your GP will not have the most current information with regard to recommended immunizations, so a travel clinic really is  your best option.  Here are a couple of links that should help you, even though they are not all UK links.

  3. You definitely need to get immunization shots, but its not required. That means you don't need proof of immunization to visit the country or anything.

I needed Japanese Encephalitis, Hepatitis A + B, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Poliomyelitis.

The rabies shots are expensive and have to be taken over a three week time period. I never got them, but there are plenty of wild dogs running around, so its better to get the shots if you have the money and time. It won't prevent you from getting rabies, but it will give you an extra 24 hours to seek treatment.

Also bring mosquito repellent and a mosquito net when you're going to in the south. I never took any anti-malaria medication while I was there either.

    Have fun
