  1. The removal of these so called 'security measures'. They're daft beyond belief.

I was flying back from Athens, and had finished my drink but kept the empty bottle so I could fill it with water from the toilets (pretty nasty, I know, but I get very thirsty very often). They claimed that I couldn't take it through because it 'had the capacity to hold more than 100ml', even though it was empty.

I did point out that my cupped hands had the capacity to hold more than 100ml, as did my kidneys/ bladder/ stomach etc. Didn't work.

I read a story in Private Eye about a man who had a petrol powered chainsaw in the overhead compartment on a plane- it wasn't on custom's list of forbidden objects, so they had let it through.

  2. Sober pilots.

  3. Something that helps your flight to actually leave on time.

"Sorry for the sixty-eight week delay, I know we're running a bit late but all of the staff here at Unpunctuality Is The Key For A Successful Business Airlines appreciate your patience and co-operation. The snack trolley will be wheeling your way in two hours time where ridiculously overpriced Mars Bars and 50ml cans of flat Coca-Cola will be available for sale and the prices will be similar to the expense of your actual flight."

  4. A mosque. Please... :)

  5. Cinemas showing short films so you could watch some good stuff while waiting.

neck and head massages for people who don't fly first class.

    Free internet access.

  6. Free Check In on Ryanair!
