What insurance would allow additional driver to get no claim bonus?

I heard there is an insurance company that offers the additional driver to get no claim bonus aswell as the main driver, does any body know which company this would be? or any other company the offers the same?

one of the family member has 6 years no claim bonus and they want to add me as the additional driver to his policy but because his company doesnt offer this we are looking for a company that will so he can transfer... please help thanks

  2. Before you switch (Direct Line offers this gimmick) you should realise that the additional driver does NOT get a no claims bonus. Direct Line will offer the discount if the additional driver takes out a policy with them (and the bonus will only start from the date the policy is incepted) however the bonus won't be accepted anywhere else in the market.

    It is therefore in my opinion misleading to call it a 'no claims discount' an 'enhanced introductory discount' would be a better name for it.
