How much do you pay a month and where do you live?

I have verizon fios double play which consist of the phone and internet. I live in NY and I pay $64.99 plus tax each month.

I pay $35/month for High-Speed Cable Internet.

Then I use InPhonex Liteline as my primary home phone replacement VoIP service for only $7.95/month.  Pay-as-you-go service.... no contracts, no commitments.

There really isn't any way that anybody other than a FIOS service rep can tell you the price. The reason being that it all depends on what landline phone options you want such as caller ID, call waiting etc, it also depends on what internet speeds you want. As well as what type of stb (set top box) you want standard, standard dvr, hd hd dvr, or multi-room. It will also depend on what movie packages, sport packages you want.

Sorry to tell you this also, cable does have taxes. All public utility co's are required to pay taxes.

With FIOS you also will have your own direct line from your home to the CO (central office), and you will not be sharing your signal with anybody. If you have cable for your Internet and experience slowdowns at specific times, that is because you are sharing your signal with your neighbors, neighborhood, and local area. I also like that with FIOS if you ever loose power you will still have dial tone because of the bbu, that is if you have a non cordless phone.

The best thing about FIOS I have to say is that they use a proud union work force, not contractors, that get paid by the job. You can be sure that your job will be done the the highest standards.

I use clearwire.com  wifi-max/fixed....I pay 16 dollars a month but I pay yearly....to get that cheap price....and wifi never goes out if the electricity goes because it comes from a MW-tower 3 mile from my house...Cary NC

for my phone service I use Packet8 189.00 per year  (for 5 years) and MagicJack (for 1 year)19.95 per year
