  1. try using jackfruits as adhesives.... i saw it in wikipedia....

  2. I find competition or nutrient/pollution studies are the easiest projects to conduct.  They require a lot of work, but the work yields results.

Competition:  Look at a desired plant, investigate and discover which other plant species is a common weed for this plant.  Lay out your project so you have a ratio of plant/weed, let them grow, then measure the heights of both at specific time intervals.  Analyze the data and present the results.  This works best with annual plants or with the establishment of perennial plants.

Nutrients/pollution:  Mix know quantities of nutrient/pollutant with soil, plant seeds, water properly,  measure germination, and plant height, analyze data, present results.

Both methods are pretty much guaranteed to have easily measure results.  BTW, take plenty of pictures during the study, they make the presentation lots more interesting.

  3. You can try investigating the effects of different colors of light on a particular species.

Or see if the plant hormone auxin is dominant in a species. You can do this by cutting the tips (techincal term: apical meristem) of the plant. If you're not familiar with plant hormones, you might want to read on some literature. But rest assured a basic survey on the effects of auxin on a plant is possible.
