What invite do you send for a fire rehousewarming?

My house burned on Christmas Day of last year, we are currently in the rebuild process. We want to have friends, family, and neighbors over to show off the finished product. We desperately need household items to make it a home again. Any help?

When you have finished rebuilding, it is fine to send friends a housewarming invitation to let them know you have rebuilt your home. You can buy inexpensive blank note cards or just print out some on your computer.  Most people do bring gifts to the housewarming and I'm sure they will contact you to see what you might be needing.  

I also suggest that you join a Freecycle group.  You can offer stuff you don't need and request stuff that you do need. Go to http://www.freecycle.org

In the "Find a group near you" blank field, type in your city and state, then click "Go".   This will pull up a list of all the freecycle groups in your area.
