What is 2 1/2 hours after 6:50 ? im so confused !?

I have late arrival tomorrow and my bus usually comes at 6:50. My school says buses will comein the morning 2:30 (2 1/2) hours laterrrrrrrrrrr !

ahh . I've been trying to come up with a time all day -- please help =))

I would guess 9:20, which is 6:50 + 2:30 (it's actually 8:80, but then 80 min = 1 hr, 20 min).
