What is 2 pounds like?

Question

say an easy object to picture that is about 2 pounds......I need help on what it feels like to hold 2 pounds.

A quart of milk, 2 loafs of bread

Butter is often sold in one pound blocks so hold two of those.  There are 2.2 pounds in a kilogram so if you had a one kg bag of sugar it would almost be as heavy.

It is almost a kilogram if you can picture that.   If not it is the weight of a quart of water. (pretty close anyway)
