People think its another 2000 fiasco. Though this time, SOME scientists prove that a meteor will strike the Earth or barely dodge it. People think that it's the "End of the World". Don't worry about it. Nothings going to happen in 2012. Probably.... Remember if the world does end: "Death is just another journey."

Lisalau said it best.  The Mayan Calendar starts over after that date, but how long do you expect these Mayans to keep chiseling?  Why do people think the Mayans can predict the end of the world despite the fact they couldn't predict the end of their own?

Remember Y2K?  Remember the coming Ice Age? Global Warming? The ozone hole? Acid rain, all this stuff was supposed to wipe us out, but haven't yet.
