  1. What are you stuck on? If you're still in school, I highly doubt that your teacher randomly gave these problems to you without explaining how to do them.

  2. 300% of $12 = $36

    1% of 460 miles = 4.6 miles

    25% of 128 CDs = 32 CDs

  3. twelve times three, which is $36

think of it this way: if you were taking 10 percent of twelve, you would multiply it by .1

so if you are taking 300 percent of twelve, you multiply it by 3

  4. 300% of 12 is 36

    1% of 460 is 4.6

    25% of 128 is 30

  5. thirty six dollars

  6. try 3 times 12. I really need to know what modern schools are teaching when this simple "done in the head" question poses such a problem. I see new graguates all the time who can't make simple change at a covienence store without a calculator. OMG 25% of 128??? try dividing by 1/4 or multiplying by .25. I'll do the in head math,(no calculator used) 1/4 of 100 is ?????....25. 1/4 of 28 is...7.            25 + 7 =32. You do the milage question your self. Do not ever try calc or trig, if you can't even do siple percentages.
