  2. PST is -8 (means midnight at the prime meridian in England comes to California 8 hours later). What we need to know here is where your website is located, because the +1 after the GMT usually means your site is on the other side of the International Date Line (half a globe away from the Prime Meridian), meaning it's the following day there). So, say, if your site was in Tokyo, while it's 11:18AM Wednesday, 6/11/08 here, there it's Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 3:18:05 AM. Now, if you're simply saying the time zone is +1 to the GMT, then the answer is 9 hours ahead of the West Coast, so your 3:38p would be 38 minutes after midnight there.

  3. When it's 3:38 pm in the PST time zone today (which is actually PDT), it will be 11:38 pm in the GMT+1 (which is BST) this evening.

You can work it out here:  www.timeanddate.com
