  1. Photo Goods

  2. The Agfa I have seen.... Many companies share part of the same name or initials. But here are a few companies that use "Agfa"

On 1 November 2004 the new AgfaPhoto group with headquarters in Leverkusen took over all the activities of the former Consumer Imaging division of the Agfa-Gevaert group:

Products for end consumers - such as film - but especially the development, production and marketing of lab equipment, software and consumer goods (particularly photo paper and chemicals) used for the professional development and production of photographic images were part of the AgfaPhotos' core business.

Not only because of drastic break-downs in the demand for films and photo paper AgfaPhoto had to place a request for the opening of an insolvency procedure at the end of June 2005. In the period of insolvency the company could at first be stabilized and business continued. However in October 2005 discussions with investors failed because no umbrella solution could be reached for the AgfaPhoto GmbH in an ongoing shrinking and difficult photographic environment. Parts of the AgfaPhoto GmbH were sold to the a&o group and "imaging solutions". The remaining business units of the enterprise are completed on in the insolvency procedure.
