I know it's informal for 'how are you?' But what does it mean in these two sentences? thanks

1) realmente sorprendente verlo competir, que tal Usain Bolt de Jamaica!.

2) No son muchas personas como tú que escribe más de "Qué tal".

  1. 1. Really surprising to see him compete, like Usain Bolt of Jamaica!

    2. There are not many people like you that write more than "Whats Up".

Sentence 1 is sort of like "Such as" but in English we would say like more often than such as. Sentence 2 is using it literally as what's up.

  2. In the first sentence it means "such as"

In the second "There are not many persons such you that only write "what's up"

  3. 1) What about Usain Bolt, from jamaica!

    2) How are you?

The second sentence doesn't make much sense.
