What is 'tag cloud'?

In this website, there is 'tag cloud'.

But I can not understand the meaning of 'tag cloud'.

Can you teach me what 'tag cloud ' is?

When you blog, you can put "tags" on your blog entry.  For example, if you are blogging about your vacation, your tags might be "vacation" "new york city" "broadway"...or something like that.  The "cloud" of tags, meaning a list of the words you've chosen to be your tag words will appear to the left of your blog pages, so that someone, or you, can go directly to whatever blog entry you want to find or read about.

That is Yahoos wording for grouping your blogs together under a word you choose to identify them called a tag.. I never have understood why they added the cloud part to it.. just sounded nice I suppose..

Anyway.. when you post a blog you can add a tag to it to identify it as maybe a joke blog.. so you add the word JOKE as a tag and when you post other blogs of the same sort you give it the same tag.. JOKE...

then if in the future you wish to find a certain joke blog you have posted.. you enter the tag JOKE into the appropriate place and it will bring up a list of all the blogs you have posted with that tag.. makes things easier to find.. kind of organizes them for you.
