  1. It depends on how big the pixels are.  Let's say your screen is 11.25 inches wide and has 768 pixels (that is the spec for the screen I'm using right now).  One pixel would be 11.25 / 728, or 0.01465" per pixel.  480 pixels on the example screen would be 7.03".  On a different screen size or a screen with a different number of pixels, the size of a certain number of pixels would be different.  I have provided you with the basic math to figure it out.

  3. There is no such exact measurement, because it depends on the display size (if you are speaking of a display), or the CCD/sensor size (if you are speaking of a camera).

    You need to contact the manufacturer of the device you are talking about.  That's the only way.
