What is AAA and how much does it cost?

We plan on moving in july, from Pa to OR. some ppl told us to go through AAA but we don't know what that is. we are 18 years old and my fiance is getting his lic on march 4 and i don't have mine yet. we both work fulltime jobs 40 hours a week. anyway does anyone know what it is and an estimate about how much it would cost?

AAA is the american automotive assocation

they   offer roadside assistance  if u break down or  run out of gas  help u plan trips u can also get 10% discount on amtrak tickets it costs bout 50 dollars a year
