  1. When the opposite team serves it over and the other team doesn't hit it.

  2. When a service is the cause of the point.  Dead ball before or after 1 touch from serve.

  3. ooo i do alot of those...well its when u serve..and the other team does not even get touch of the ball

  4. Technically an Ace is when a serve is not returned by the other team. There are some variations to this. I believe it can only be touched by one person to count as an ace for stats. If it's not touched by anyone it's called an untouched ace and may be recorded separately.

  5. When the ball is served over in bounds, and is not returned back.

  6. ACE is when u serve the ball and it hits the opponents' court floor cleanly without getting touched by opponent's players before it... Just like tennis ace..

  7. An ace occurs when you serve and the ball lands on the court without anyone touching it.

  8. when you get an ace, you serve the ball and the other team either does not touch it at all or it ricochets off of their body.  that is what all the teams have their "ace" cheers for

  9. it is when you serve the ball and no one goes after it and it hits there side of the court and that is an ace

  11. oooo when u hit the vball over and the other team cant hit it back over.

  12. In tennis its a perfect score,,,  In cards its just above the king and just below the deuce...  How was that for an answer???  Grant M in Pennsylvania

  13. When u serve the ball and score a point there is no return from the oher team.

  14. an ACE is when you may serve, spike, bumb, block, tip, or dig to the other opponet and the ball has hit clearly on the floor. they may have a slight tip on the ball, but with it hits the floor and nobody at all touches it, then that is called an ACE.

  15. an ace is when someone from your team serves the ball and the other team touches once or less. Basically an ace is whatever you want it to be and is used to celebrate a point

  16. when the server hits the ball over the net, in bounds,  and it is not returned

  17. From the NCAA volleyball statistics book Article 3

Article 2. A service ace (SA) is a serve that results directly in a point. A service

ace is awarded to a player:

    (1) If the serve strikes the opponent’s court untouched.

    (2) If the serve is passed by the opponent but cannot be kept in play.

    (3) If the referee calls a violation on the receiver (i.e., lift, double hit).

    (4) If the receiving team is out of rotation (i.e., overlap).

I will admit.  #4 surprised me.  That means you can serve the ball into the net and get credit for an ace.

  18. the server serves and if the ball hits the ground untouched or if the ball hits a player and the ball cannot immeadiatly be returned its called an ace

    hope i could help

  19. When the server hits the ball. And the other team doesn't get it back over. That would be your typical a.c.e.!
