  1. AIA Certification Courses

Kayye Consulting, Inc. has been awarded approval and certification by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as a Continuing Education Services (CES) provider. Kayye Consulting now educates architects through seminars designed to enable architects to pre-plan for the integration of audiovisual systems into commercial environments. Although these seminars are taught by Kayye Consulting, they are licensed to ProAV dealers who are granted exclusive geographical licenses.

The three classes -- Planning Electrical and Infrastructure Requirements for AV Systems, Understanding the AV Projection and Display Environment, and Understanding Audio and Acoustics in AV Presentation Systems --- are currently licensed and more are being developed. Each seminar is approximately two hours and attendees receive two CES credit hours towards their AIA licenses. These credits, in most cases, also count towards state licensing requirements for architects.

In addition to enabling architects to plan for audiovisual systems in their commercial projects, these seminars explore how a relationship and continued communication with an AV systems integrator can benefit the architect in all phases of the design process. Additionally, audiovisual dealers are given the opportunity to establish relationships with architects in their area who often are contacted by clients in advance of a systems integrator.

For information on each seminar including a course description go to the AIA web site at http://www.occe.ou.edu/aia/cgi-bin/Ads/A...
