What is AZTLAN ? Is it something that is supported by scientific evidence?

It is the mythical state that some Mexicans think should be the land owned by Mexico including all states aquired from Mexico from California and Texas.  It is In truth, when the US took California and Texas, there were far more Americans there than Mexicans.  It is now American territory and any attempt to take it should be opposed with as much force that is necessary.  It has its basis in anti-American, and sometimes Communist propaganda, has not scientific or historical basis.

Aztlan is the region from where the original inhabitants of the central valley of Mexico came from. The name of this region is taken from an ancient native codex describing the path taken by mexicas until they arrived and settled to form Tenochtitlan the city of the Aztecs. It is not clear exactly where this place was, only that is was way up north, probably somewhere in southern US or northern Mexico.
