Acapulco is one of the HOT spots in Mexico, the night life is great and the beaches beautiful, but not my favorite destination in Mexico, as a native Mexican, who used to work in tourism.

In summer is hot as h**l, and from the tourist area is probably the only one which can be dangerous, because is in Sierra Madre Occidental, very windy roads, and it's on one of the difficult zone of Mexico, it's like the Detroit of Mexico (gang wise).

I would recommend Can Cun, or any resort area in the Yucatan peninsula, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, etc.

Its a cheap destination. So if you go as a broken person you ll have fun, not as h**l but cool.

If you have money and you are able to afford the luxurious life, you are gonna have FUN! although you will see alot of poor people isnt a rich beach just a couple of people at the "bay area".

the best way to find out is to actually go there by yourself.

it's about taste when comes to traveling destinations, too, so it's best to try it by yourself.

plus, i heard it's not expensive and that is beautiful.
