Personally, I really don't know. I do know that his fight purse is not the same for each fight. I would be very surprised if Ward has had a fight that earned him over $25,000, especially considering he hasn't had a big name opponent yet.

Despite being an Olympic gold medal winner, Ward's career isn't taking off like other medal winners, like Oscar De La Hoya (of course) and Floyd Mayweather to name a couple.

There is no salary per fight in boxing.  What you get paid depends on MANY factors.  Some of them include: who your opponent is, who is promoting the fight, what the purse is, where the fight is being held, etc.  He most likely gets paid a different salary for each fight because the purse is bound to different.  He has still not really "broken through" yet, so I know that he's not getting millions or anything like that, but I would venture that he is getting paid in the thousands for each fight.  As his career progresses, he will get paid more for each fight.  Although his career has stalled more than it should have, I look forward to him getting a title shot in the near future.
