What is Animism, have questions to learn.?

Question

1.What is Animism?

2.What is the relationship between the physical world and the spirit world?

3.Explain the different themes and the significance of the animist unseen world?

4.Where do animist spirits exhibit power and why? Give me two different examples.

Right now I'm reading an article for high school for tomorrow, and these are the questions to be answered for tomorrow. Just hoped the community can help me out since I'm new to this and I'd like to know the basics =-).

P.S. Please don't post something from Wikipedia, just answer it as if you were answering it yourself. =-)

1. Animism is the idea that all things have a spirit. Animals, trees, herbs, rocks, bodies of water, everything.

2. Physical matter is just another form of energy. What we consider 'solid' is actually mostly space. I mean that physical matter is made up of atoms. Atoms have smaller parts but there is lots of space between the parts that make up an atom. Matter is just energy in a different state.

3. I'm not sure. Since everything has a spiritual essence, having a positive attitude brings you more harmony in relating to the world and other beings. Everything is energy and energy has frequencies or 'wave lengths' or (I'm sure you've heard this one..) 'vibes' or vibrations.

4. I don't know. Water retains vibes sent into it very well. If you project love and gratitude into a glass of water then drink it, it's supposed to be healthy.

Animism is believing that everything! has a soul etc.....
