  1. this is so easy to remove you wouldn't believe it,

follow all of these fools advice and if it is still there Email me and i will tell you how to remove it within 30 Min's.

it will put trojan droppers throughout your operating system so turn off your system restore before you do anything else...

  2. Antivirus2009 or Antivirus 2009, is the latest rogue antispyware program. Antivirus2009 is a clone of the famous rogue antispyware Antivirus 2008 (Antivirus2008). Usually Antivirus2009 can come into user's computer after fake video codec installation that comes with malware, Trojan or even a virus. Antivirus2009 will generate fake system warning popup messages to trick users into punching a "full" version of Antivirus2009.

It is very important to remove all the components of Antivirus2009 and all the malware and Trojans that it might have come with (such as Trojan Zlob, Trojan Vundo). Users should not trust Antivirus2009 and they should remove it as soon as possible from their computer system!

  3. try manual removal instructions

  4. There is new spyware on the Internet that calls itself Antivirus 2009 (there is an older version called Antivirus 2008 as well). Both generate fake and misleading popup error messages so you are tricked into believe that your computer is infested with viruses and that you need to purchase a program to remove them. This spyware program hides on websites that offer free programs as well as downloads that are spread through file-sharing programs like Limewire.

The first step to stop this is by being aware of what is going on. If you get a pop up when surfing the Internet that appears to be scanning your computer, try to close the browser window by clicking the red X on the top right corner. If the pop up windows gives you a YES/NO option or has any other form of message box with just an OK to click on, try to resist. The spyware program needs acknowledgement from the computer user before it can install itself, so any interaction from you can trigger an installation. Clicking the red X on top of any window often works. Another option is to click ALT+F4 repeatedly until all windows on your screen are closed.

  5. If you mean XP Antivirus 2008 (or if AV 2009 is a variant of that), then it's a FAKE antivirus, and it's very dangerous, and hard to remove.  See below for more information.

  6. it is VERY dangerous. it's a variant of the vundo trojan family.

Run roguefix, and then once it is done run combofix.

Reboot to normal mode, download spybot and run it, update it, and run a  full scan.l you'll be ok then.

If the problem persists, turn OFF System Restore, Right click My computer > select Properties > System Restore Tab > Tick Turn Off System restore on all drives and scan with the above programs in Safe Mode - tap F8 during boot before Windows splash screen and select Safe Mode.

After scans are complete and machine is clean remember to turn system restore back ON and create a new restore point.

Once your scans are complete and your machine is clean, uninstall some of the programs, I suggest that you keep Malwarebytes for manual scanning, Spyware Doctor for realtime monitoring and Spybot. The remainder can be removed to save drive space, but you may want to keep the installers for future use.

Frequently the first 4 programs will resolve the problem.

  10. like gog said, it is bad. You must uninstall it. A free way i found for doing that was at http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/antivirus-20... Shows you want to do to uninstall antivirus 2009.
