What is Australia's image to the world?

I've heared that were known as one of the least racist countries in the world and that were known as one of the most. What have you heared about Australia? Are we just that country that follows America everywhere?

Who really cares what others think ,we know what a great place Australia is to live ,so lets keep it to ourselves.

Eveything you guys have said is wrong, well from a canadian point of view. We perceive you as being healty and all together nice people. I've never even heard about Australian's being racist...

Some americans think really stupid things about Canadians too, it just depends where you're from.

Aussies are laid back, with a sarcastic sense of humor, they love to drink, are very cultured as a result of all the different ethnic groups represented in their country and being well traveled.  That is what I've heard as an American.

Apparantly we are all a bunch of lazy, racist and rapists. (to the aboriginal people)

Also we are Fosters beer guzzlers, bbq munchers and bad at sports!

Thats the general idea everyone else has of us.

I've heard that our best mode of transport is kangaroos, we don't understand the concept of floors or money and that we don't have computers.

Apart from that, I've heard mainly good things, and nothing to do with us being like America.
