What is Australia's "national sport"? (just as hockey is Canada's national sport)

Most Aussies love just about any sport. Aussie Rules, our home made game is big. In terms of Olympics though probably swimming and track and field.

I think it depends which state you are from but AUS is a very sporty country and they do well in most sports....when I lived in Sydney rugby league was huge there....but in Melbourne I think its AFL
