for the moment Belgium is building the first zero emission pool station in the world on Antarctica and doing already for many years studies about the Antarctica.

Don't forget we do have already a longstanding tradition about the the Antarctica : Adrien de Gerlache who organized the first real scientific expedition to the pool and his ship ( the belgica ) and crew where the first to endure the Arctic winter.
