What is Better? DisneyLand or DisneyWorld? Why?

I know my answer....now tell me yours! Easy 10 points if u have a good explanation and if u agree with me.

I haven't been to Disneyland, but Disneyworld is so amazing. The theming of each park is fantastic, especially Animal Kingdom. There are awesome rides for all ages at each park, and some fantastic parades & firework displays. You can't forget Downtown Disney, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, & the golf courses.

Disneyworld is surrounded by other waterparks, and the Universal parks are pretty close too, as well as some carnivals, and plenty of hotels, restraunts, and gift shops.

So that's why Disneyworld seems better to me. (:

i have been to both parks and i think both are great. if someone gave me free tickets to go to either park, i would go without thinking twice. having said that...

I like disney world. why?

* It was the first disney park i went to and its what i think when i think disney.

* It has a lot to offer. resorts, sports, recreational activities, plus the parks. Animals, rides, water parks...

* It has things that can't be found anywhere else like Epcot.

That is not to say there are thing i like about Disneyland.

* Everything is so close.

* Its the original park.

* Everything is so close (okay, i really like that feature)

* rides that are not at the florida park

disney world.its the classic,and it will always be my favorite.there is more to do there.even though disney land is catching up,it will always be the origional

DISNEYLAND!!!!!!

Because its not as spread out, and its tons cooler.... also its near california adventures which is fun! plus all the main attractions are in one park whereas in disneyworld theres like 2 in each park... also disney world is wayy overpriced cuz u have to pay at each park entrerance where as in disneyland u get a the ticket that allows u to go to both parks for 1 price!

Disneyland. Its much less commercial if that makes any sense. Disneyworld has golfing and other activities whereas Disneyland is more theme rides. Although I havent been for YEARS, so that might be different.

When we went to Disneyland I always looked forward to the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, The main street Electric Parade.. in other words I looked forward to the rides and attractions.

I have been to both.  I like disneyland (DL) over disneyworld.(DW)  DL Has the traditional rides and entertainment.  They have Frontierland, Fantasyland, etc...  DW has their rides too.  But they have so much commercializm, it takes away from the wonder of what should be there.  There are shops and stores for everything one could only imagine.  There are mini-malls at the end of every ride, to get you to spend 'more money'!  So, if you want to go for the fun, go to DL.  If you want to go shopping, go to DW.

DW. It is bigger and has more attractions for everyone.
