I don't mean to sound ignorant, but from this September, I'll be studying Biology, and this would be our first time.

I really don't know what it is about and I don't have any books.

I know it has got to do something with organisms, life, etc, but not sure what it is exactly about.

Could you please explain the basics of the subject, and what it is all about?

I want to know what I'm gonna learn.

How difficult is it by the way?

Please rate the difficulty (your opinion) from 1 to 5

Thanks.

<:^_^:>

Have a Good Day!

From 1 to 5 i would rate it a 1 it's easy for me because i am good in science and i am good in plants!!!

  3. Biology covers a wide range of subjects. Biology has a huge range of disciplines such as cell biology, genetics, zoology (animals), ecology (populations), botany (plants), microbiology (bacteria and such), taxonomy (naming and classification) and many others. You could spend a whole career in biology looking at a single protein or something as big as an elephant.

As far as high school biology goes, my guess is that you'll probably learn a lot about the cell and what it's made of. You'll also probably learn how the classification system for living things works. You might touch on genetics as well as maybe learning about the brain or other body processes.

In my opinion biology was about a 2. Biology generally involves quite a bit of memorization, especially when it comes to dealing with parts of the body and such. However there are also quite a few concepts to understand. Additionally, genetics is more mathematics based.
