I have a tournament coming up and all the people there probably mastered the sicilian the ruy lopez the french and so on. So... I want something that will make them say huh?!@#. There thinking that it was a horrible move but really it was a good move.

Please do not give me common defences that they will know.

PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION AND GIVE ME THE NAME OF THE DEFENCE.

AND GIVE ME A FEW SO I MAKE SURE THAT BLACK HAS A HIGHER CHANCE OF WINNING THAN WHITE.

THANK YOU

  2. You are asking the impossible.  Any defense to 1. e4 that is "still very very good" would certainly also be extremely common.  After all, the popularity of any defense is based on how well it performs in practice.  Any sensible chess play will repeat lines that produce good positions and abandon those that create difficulties.

Still, of the lesser used defenses to 1. e4, I would recommend either Alekhine's defense, 1. e4, Kf6, or the Center Counter (also known as the Scandinavian) defense, 1. e4, d4.  They both allow Black to force the opening into lines that he will know better than White.

If you want a double King's pawn opening, I would try the Latvian Gambit (also known as the Greco Counter Gambit).  It goes 1 e4, e5 2. Nf3, f5.  This opening is considered of very dubious soundness, but your opponent is virtually guaranteed never to have studied it until you start playing it.  The two main problems using it is that your opponents will start studying it if you are known to play it frequently, plus you need to be prepared to play against other openings if White doesn't play 2. Nf3.  That includes being prepared against the King's Gambit, Vienna Game, and Bishop's opening.

  3. Play 1...Nc6!

this is unusual and sound enough when your prepared and your opponet is not.

  4. b3(Try to fianchetto the bishop on Bb2),g3 for fianchetto too

  5. Is this a racially-motivated question?

I noticed all of your misspellings, is that in defense of your enthusiasticly hap-hazard questioning?
