What is Boxers hand?

I know a guy who repeatedly says "Yeah man, i got boxer's hand". I have been boxing for some years and never once heard that term. I even looked online and could find nothing. What the h**l is it?

  1. Maybe he try to mean that he has a hand that can probably kick you a** if you try to mess with him.


  2. I've had a boxer's fracture, maybe that what he's talking about. Boxer's fracture is a broken hand, usually the 4th or 5th metacarpal as a result of improper punching technique or a shot that lands bad.

  3. does he mean a "Boxers fracture" or a "boxers break"??  I've heard of that! You'll see it in boxers that aren't wrapping properly or that are hitting incorrectly and breaking a small bone in the hand, or its a "stress fracture" that happens with overuse.
