What is Breakfast For Dinner Called?

Breakfast for lunch is called brunch. I was pretty sure there was a name for breakfast for dinner...does anyone KNOW what it is? No guesses please.

We just call it dinner. No matter what we are having for the meal.

If you have steak and potatoes for breakfast, you would call it breakfast.

Also here in the South, we have three meals and they are called Breakfast, Dinner and Supper.

I dont believe there is actually a term for this so you can kind of make one up...

My wife and I call lunch and dinner... Linner

so dinner for breakfast is.... dinfast

Brunch isn't really breakfast for lunch, at least not where I live. It is a meal that can (and usually does) include foods that are typically consumed for breakfast and foods that are typically consumed for lunch. Brunch usually occurs between late morning and early afternoon.

When we have breakfast foods for dinner, we say we're having breakfast for dinner.
