Yeah... I havent really listen to his songs before.. but maybe I did, but never new who sang it.

The only thing I know about Bruce Springsteen songs are that he's always talking about the working classman, not to give up hopes and dreams, and pride.

What else is he trying to say through his songs?

Please help and thank you.

  1. I know what else he is trying to say through his songs: "Buy my CD"

  2. Most of the time, Bruce is singing about things that are important and memorable to him.  The thing that sets Springsteen apart from other writers is his ability to express this in such a way that it becomes personally relevant to the listener.

But don't lump all of his songs into that "working class" thing.  While that forms the basis for a lot of Springsteen's songs (it was his upbringing) his body of work goes well beyond that.
