I've never understood why marriage need protecting to begin with. To the best of my recall, I've never heard that permitting g*y marriage would make traditional ones illegal or anything...

Waste of Money on keeping the "status quo". I don't understand why it has to be an issue. Aren't there more things to worry about then 2 men or 2 women just wants the same rights as my parents have. g*y marriage doesn't affect my parents allmost 40 years of marriage one bit. Seem to me that people who worry about something probably doesn't concern them in slightist should have their proirities in check.

It's to keep marriage legal in CA, between only, a man and woman.
