What is Cedric Benson's problem?

Has he just got a huge ego, or does he have a problem handling the responsiblility of money and stature, or has he just got a drinking problem?

He has been coddled since he showed superior hand-eye coordination as a youth player and had zero direction from family not to take the easy way out of things....allowing personal responsibility problems to be "taken care of" by those who wanted a piece of the action.

Now, as an adult, he probably can't believe that he is actually getting in legal trouble.....that there aren't people coddling him, as had been the case for years.

Benson is just another washed up stud collegiate athlete that cant perform a professional level (like many top Bears draftees). That, coupled with his ridiculously large contract + ego + being a flat out idiot on&off the field =  Cedric Benson.  This guy wouldve been gone by now if Angelo/bears organization weren't clinging on and crossing fingers to see if he turns out... he won't.
